Projects

Gerald Street

This project was a full renovation of an early 1900’s workman’s cottage in the Dublin docklands.

As an investment property, the client needed to transform the space on a budget, in order to maximise rental return.

We moved the kitchen from the back to the front, which allowed us to open up the larger space in the back, incorporating an L shape corner sofa, and full-height glass double sliding doors, facing out onto an enclosed outdoor dining area.  A new bathroom was installed with walk-in shower.  Bedrooms were freshly fitted out and refurbished.

We replaced the old windows with beautiful sash windows on front and side, and a new solid Dublin style front door.

With fresh pale walls and new wood flooring throughout, the space was utterly transformed from dark, dated and cramped, to bright and contemporary, perfect for city professionals.

From the client:

“Evelyn was great from start to finish.  We couldn’t have completed this project without her.  From producing budgets, chasing quotes from builders, design, liaising with builders and trades on a daily basis, to selecting soft furnishings and finishing touches while bringing the whole project to a conclusion… Evelyn offered a turn-key service.”
